Talk, Talk, Talk

The big talk at Lion Brand Studio is tonight (doors open at 5:30 p.m., seating is first come, first served).  I was feeling pretty relaxed about it.  At this point, I have given many talks about my work so the topic is pretty familiar territory.  Then Patty at LBS mentioned that 58 people had RSVP'ed.  Dashed from my mind were the images of sitting around with a half dozen knitters, quietly chatting about fun stuff.  Now I am armed with a power point show of about 100 images.  My goal is to breath throughout.

Maybe I am setting the bar too high?

  2. Eager faces.
People who want to hear what you have to say.
Knitters, who will be half way to getting your message before you say a word.

you'll be surrounded by the quiet clicks of needles working together.

the sun will be out for a few hours this afternoon, and everyone will be happy.

    it will be great!

  4. I'm sure it will be fine. I'll be there with my daughter, Jackie, who knit part of the mile for you. She's looking forward to seeing you again and to introducing me to you. I'm looking forward to it.

  5. I stupidly got the time wrong and only got to hear the end of your presentation. Considering how interesting and informative the last part was, I'm distraught that I wasn't there for the whole thing. Did anyone tape it?
