I Would Drink Jon Stewart's Bath Water...

Why is it that the only person in America capable of asking the important questions, and not letting people wiggle out of taking responsibliity, is a comedian? There is definitely something weird about that. But, I am so grateful for that one person. (P.S. I couldn't find the direct link, so this is the intro with a link to the real interview...please stick with it - it is worth it!)

I simultaneously love what Jon's done this week and am frustrated by it. His initial criticism was of CNBC in general and specifically the Rick San-something guy for ranting on air about first time homebuyers tanking the economy and now whining for a bailout from the taxpayers--an irresponsible and reprehensible rant, imo. Jim Cramer seems a bit of a sacrificial lamb and scapegoat all at once, even though I want him held accountable too. Still, he was willing to use the R-word long before the Bushies were.

Hey, I know that quote. It's from a David Rakoff story on This American Life. I LOVE that you quoted that!

And I love that you recognized it! That story had me in tears, laughing my head off.
