March

Over the past week, we have seen about three feet of snow melt. A cherry sapling in our side yard was buried nearly to the tips of its branches. Now I can see grass at its base.

What is the point of making a beautiful skein of yarn or a warm and lovingly made afghan if it all could be washed away in a moment?

But we do.

you are so right! and on the same theme, have you met my friend, Swift?

An Afghan! for A baby? A mewling, baby that leaks bodily fluids from both ends? What use is a baby!

(and that lovely yarn you've just spun up? Useless! (toss it my way, won't?))

Some how--I think--there might be some usefulness in all of them--and you'll find it.

Terribly unsafe. And yet it helps brighten the moment we are in. I'll keep knitting!

Well, imagine how hard it is for me, with her living here. Dang!
I hear you on time spent on the computer. That's one of the reasons I (temporarily) flamed out on my blog and am just now catching up on friends' blogs I haven't read in at least two months. It's just a huge time suck, and I notice when I'm not on the computer so much, I get so much more done (like reading books!).
